The large scale works of my AMERICAN MONUMENTS feature individuals throughout American History that have impacted our society, culture, and thought in groundbreaking ways. These are American monuments that should be celebrated in our museums and town squares. These works are constructed by adhering handmade prints onto multiple panels. The finished piece (or figure) is larger than life, reaching over 7 feet tall. The first piece is of Harriet Tubman, the second (almost completed) work is of Alice Paul. These pieces take me a long time to make, but I am hoping to add a new piece to this series every year.
