LARGE WORK

My new large-scale prints and drawings feature individuals throughout American History that have impacted our society, culture, and thought in groundbreaking ways.  The print pieces are constructed by adhering handmade prints onto multiple panels. The finished piece (or figure) is larger than life, reaching over 7 feet tall.  The first print piece is of Harriet Tubman, the second work is of Alice Paul. Because the large prints are so time consuming, I have decided to switch to charcoal drawing for the foreseeable future. The first large scale drawing is a reinterpretation of my Alice Paul print, but in charcoal and color pastels. I plan to spend the next several months creating several large-scale drawings in this body of work.
